Austin Repp

I am a Junior/Senior Computer Engineering student at Clemson University. I have experience in professional Software Development from a Co-Op program at Thomson Reuters (Charlotte, NC), and an internship at CareSync (Tampa, FL). I am persuing a software engineering job in a variety of fields. My hobbies outside of the world of tech include basketball, fishing, and motorcycles.

Thomson Reuters

Charlotte, NC. June 2018 - Current

  • Responsible for full stack development and maintenance on an existing client-facing Global Trade product. Technology stack includes ASP.NET, SQL Server, Javascript, HTML, CSS.
  • Converted existing ASP.NET screens to new technology stack using Angular for the front-end, and a RESTful .NET Core Web API.
  • Developed features for an internal automated UI testing framework using Selenium, NUnit, and C#. Additionally, wrote tests using this framework for existing screens.

CareSync

Tampa, FL. June 2017 - Aug 2017

  • Primary researcher on time and motion study research project aimed at identifying and fixing inefficiencies in clinical workflows and reducing latency in the software stack.
  • Learned interface design software Sketch through tutorials and personalized training by the UX Lead. Utilized symbols to create a design library which was reusable by the user experience team.
  • Conducted user interviews with the Clinical Services staff and other employees of CareSync and provided research back to the User Experience team.
